I recently dug up this very short drabble buried deep inside my computer somewhere and realized how cute it was. I thought maybe I'd post it.

Warning: No plot, no smut, just humor... :-)

Inspired by a certain Colgate Skit, the boy's early history in Atlantic City and... a Penny Lick.

...

“Gee this is great, Paul,” Jerry commented, peering through the window of Shriver’s Candy Store and ice-cream parlor. “When Patti comes here she’ll have to see this place.”

Dean handed two pennies to the vendor and turned around, holding two small glass cups with ice cream inside.

“Penny lick?”

“What?” Jerry blurted before realizing Dean was talking about the ice cream. “Thanks, you didn’t have to do tha—Hey, there’s barely anything in here!” and he was right. It really was just enough for one lick.

“--And why it only cost a penny,” Dean explained. “What’s a matter, you want more?”

“Well, yeah.”

“Then pay the man.”

“Pay ‘em? I don’t have any money.”

“Fine, I’ll have it,” Dean said, taking Jerry’s penny lick.

“Oh Dean!” Jerry whined, pouting. “Dean--! Dean, don’t do it, Dean! Dean, don’t – it’s mine, Dean, it is my ice cream, Dean.” Dean pretended not to hear the sudden whiney, run-at-the-mouth Jerry was capable of. “You can hold it for a while. You can look at it – don’t lick it. You can put it down, until it melts and runs all over, or give it to me, Dean, but Dean--!”

“What, Jerry? What is it?”

“—DON’T LICK IT!”

Sacha Assaulted?

This news article says that during filming of new Bruno movie Sacha's leg was broken and its uncertain whether it was an accident or if he was assaulted.

'He is now hobbling around on crutches after apparently breaking a leg. His aides refused to say whether he had had an accident - or been assaulted by one of his prank victims.'

oh, and the films to be released in October! 8D

I've been wanting to write this for two years but school zaps all my writing time XD so here's to a future filled with lots of slashy writings... whoot!

Disclaimer: This is like one of many I want to write, based off the history of the Romanovs and the very, very gay Prince Felix Yusupov. This is based off fact, he used to sneak out every Saturday night dressed in his mother's finest clothes and sing in French at a nightclub called The Aquarium -- just like any good lil drag queen would! And one time Edward VII fell head over heels so, no one's saying it didn't happen but if it did, here's my depiction so... yay! XD

Warning: Slash... as if you didn't already know!

A Night to Forget

“Let me tell you a story,” he proposed, picking a cigarette from a small silver case. I watch this Frenchman curiously and glancing at my expressions he seems to grin. It is a strange sight; his full lips alternately sensual and mocking. One could easily associate him as a thing of great breeding and I wonder how a fashionable shop owner could afford such a charming face. “You are English,” he continues. “Undoubtedly you’ve heard about our scandalous tales of passion, debauchery, sex and murder. Mines no different but of course it is true. I’m sure you’ve never heard this one before.”

“Alright,” I agree and sit back in my chair. I begin to wonder if the man I am interviewing is not some senile, old coot telling me fairytales like Bluebeard, Cinderella or Jack in the Bean Stock. By this time my eyes have adjusted to the dim lights of the basement. There are boxes of things pushed neatly against the walls and on shelves, one thing on top of the other, some boxes brightly colored, others not so much. I take note of this quickly, figuring I can recollect the details later. When he proposed to tell me true stories that would satisfy my journalist’s heart, I did not know what to expect, still don’t in fact.

Seeing that I have poised pen to paper, he takes three delicate puffs on his cigarette, and says, “This is the first of many recollections of La Dame de Diamant. She is not French by birth, but Russian. In fact she is the very scandal of Russia,” his eyes shine in the light of smoldering cigarette ash and he smiles that indulgent, leery grin as though he has admitted something juicy. So far I do not see the logic.

“It was a Sunday morning in St. Petersburg,” he continues, “It was the day after an interesting night for the capital of the wealthy, Russian world for it was when a certain, influential Englishman named King Edward VII discovered the charms of our Dame de Diamant inside a trendy cabaret known as The Aquarium. He went with an entourage of close friends and bodyguard because that was the night to go, they told him, the night that she’d be there.

Edward expected some young, delicate thing that was fair at best, enough to satisfy the taste of these Russians. He’d known such exquisite ladies in England, his own wife Alexandra being a renowned beauty that he wasn’t expecting to find someone finer. However, when the lights dimmed and the velvet curtains were pulled back, he knew just how wrong he’d been. There on stage was a bejeweled and lavishly outfitted angel in blue tulle, ostrich feathers and diamonds that winked flirtatiously across the room. Her hair was hidden beneath an elaborate headpiece. Bewitched, Edward stared admiringly at her lovely young face.

After the long night of fashionable society, drinking, heady smoke filled posh atmosphere of the nightclub and – glancing down at the naked and warm backside which he reluctantly extricated himself – lusty company, his eyes and other equally deteriorated senses still needed to adjust.

Edward watched the opposite wall roll like a kaleidoscope of blotchy pinks, greens and yellows. Sitting up, he lay back against the headboard while his companion continues to sleep, unperturbed by the shifting of weight along the mattress. He was numb in many places. His beard felt like hay was sprouting from his chin and it hurt to run fingers through it. The work of alcohol and mind-numbing pheromones, he figures, nudging an empty bottle with his foot. It rolls off the bed and lands with a dull thump to the carpet, clinking against a few other empty vessels, the contents of which must be simmering in his intestines.

He’d quickly forgotten Alexandra by the time he caught a glimpse of this fabulous creature now laying besides him. He was a man after all and certain needs had to be met when living in the society of the elite and the beautiful. Squinting across the room at the ornate gold clock over the fireplace, it reads 6:51. This room, apart from the sorry state of the bed, looked as though it had never been touched by unscrupulous hands before.

Then there was a knock at the door, a light tapping of knuckles followed moments later by a woman giggling. “Felix,” calls a man’s voice not too loudly but loud enough, and the woman still giggling somewhere on the other side, “Felix, you in there?” The doorknob begins to turn but halts for it is locked.

“Wrong room,” shouts Edward gruffly and getting up out of bed starts searching the floor for his pants. The prone figure stretched out on the bed finally moves, raising head blearily from the pillows.

“Felix,” the voice persists in sniggering, arrogant tones, “Got to get home before daddy finds out.” Again, the woman, whoever she is, seems to think that this is too much, and laughs heartily. The man tries to shush her with little luck.

Having enough of this, Edward, buttoning his pants, throws open both lock and door, revealing two familiar faces he recognized as Prince Nicholas Yusupov and his mistress who all through the evening last night had hovered over him and…

“Felix!” Nicholas eyes go past Edward toward the bed. “Rise and shine sleepy head. Have fun last night?” Edward turns around and to his horror sees not Maria Zenaida, yawning, stretching naked on the bed but a beautiful young man, stretching naked and with a look on his face that is as innocent as it is mocking.

“Nikki,” he yawns cheerfully, “This is Edward, King of England,” he adds in muffled tones as though it were a secret, and smirking, ruefully, added “I always knew I was good enough to be a Queen.”

That's like the third time Jimmy caressed Will's face in this skit, completely out of the blue of course and in no way correlating to the actual plot seeing as Jimmy is *supposed* to be floiting with Drew Barrymore... what can I say, Will's just too goddamn sexy to pass up... sorry Drew, maybe next time...

The ladies are having trouble keeping a straight face... can't blame them. Not only do these boys look like they're gonna started pounding native drums soon, William as good as said himself:

Apparently Sacha~<3 won't be strutting around with his blond mohawk and skin tight shirts in the upcoming Bruno film :'-( I guess I'd need to see this purported new look to decide if I like it better or not but I'm still uber excited about this Bruno movie. I also wanna see 'Sweeney Todd' just to see him strut around like a peacock and sing in high octave! X3

Disclaimer: This is the rewrite I mentioned before... yay! magpie_05 liked this chappie much better than the first so I hope you all think I did a good job! Other chapters will come soon, promise! And for anyone that's interested, here's a pretty painting of Jerrela I'm working on and one day it will be a full blown painting with Dean in there n' all but I'm particularly proud of how pretty Jerrela is coming along X3

P.S. I suck at digital painting so don't expect much from an unfinished piece....

Chapter One

Princess, July 1946

Soon you and I will borrow
The moon for just the two of us.
Sweetly and so discreetly
We'll be completely alone
No other world, only our own.

Atlantic City in July could fry eggs on the hood of your car. Nighttime offered a brief but moderate alleviation from this. Even so, they left the window open in hopes of a breeze to stray through the Venetian window shades. Outside is the occasional sound of a V8 engine zipping up Missouri Ave., or the cat yowling by the trashcans behind Gaetano’s. Music emanates up the street from the club 500. Neon signs like the one above the door of The Silverchair glow with all the yellow incandescence of the moon, naked against a black pitch duly reflected in the wet asphalt of the street. It’s a nocturnal world, thriving beneath the deep, dark, placid exterior.

Jerry lay in bed, hearing only the sound of Dean’s breathing. It was soft and slow and peaceful, deep in sleep. Any discomfort he might have felt from the heat, Dean never elicited a response. He’d complain about the cold with all the aptitude of a fussy old woman though. A trickle of sweat slid slowly down the side of his face. The moisture left a trail that at the right angle trapped a glimmer of light that shimmered. Jerry stared with all the fascination of a young boy looking at something shiny.

And Dean grumbled low in his throat.

“What’s the matter, bubby?” Jerry cooed softly. He’d shut his eyes slightly, lying with his head on the pillow as though he’d actually been asleep a moment before.

As if to fill the momentary quiet, the vent in the corner of the room rattled to life, spitting cool air into the room. Jerry grinned at the man squinting blearily across the pillow at him, feeling silly. “Hello, Handsome.”

Before he could think twice, a fluffy down pillow was shoved square in Jerr’s face. Momentarily stunned, Jerry peers wide-eyed over the pillow at Dean who looks perfectly innocent, or as innocent as an Italian boy from Steubenville, Ohio possibly can look. They’re both grinning now; Jerry chuckles, leering down his nose at Dean. Dean’s smile tightens at the corners, eyes gleaming. For a split second nobody moves and then, like the bell chimes in a boxing ring, they were everywhere at once; tearing up the bed, the linens, grabbing at the sheets, shoving blankets, pillows and every soft object within reach at the other man.

Maneuvering through the small, cramped compartment is a familiar game. They both snatch up the corner of a pillow and yank it. The only thing louder than the sound of hysterical laughter and mock threats is that of linen ripping down the middle. Still they fight, even when it begins to snow feathers and they’re gasping for breath. Dean ducks as Jerry throws a shoe across the room, sending it flying out the window. Dean lifted his bushy black eyebrows, agog.

Jerry barely hesitated, “They didn’t match your pants any how!”

Dean rushed him. Jerry squirmed after the arrest, strong arms wrapped around his back and they tripped backwards, gasping and sucking in air as they crumpled on the bed in a haze of feather down.

“Them’s… gonna costs ya some… boy,” Dean panted, arms still wrapped around Jerry. The middleweight boxer was surprisingly heavy lying on top of the smaller man.

Jerry made a wry mouth, “Eh you’re meshugeneh,” Jerry managed somehow, and squirmed again, suddenly uncomfortable. A few seconds later, Dean rolled off Jerry and lay on his back. Jerry paused, staring at the bare-chested man lying besides him. He looked around and saw the pajama top lying limp across a suitcase. Jerry smiled sheepishly, remembering the buttons he’d sent flying through the air.

“I’ll return the favor one day,” Dean promised, apparently on the same train of thought. Jerry believed him.

Moisture beading on their foreheads, both men made one last half-assed beeline over the bed for the bathroom.

“Oh no you don’t, out you get, bubby,” Dean chortled, picking Jerry up and depositing him outside the bathroom door as though he weighed nothing.

“Hey, Dean!” Jerry banged on the door with his fist. “That’s not fair, I beat you fair and square,” he whined. He heard Dean turn on the tap, humming nonchalantly as he splashed his face with cold water. Jerry pouted, recognizing defeat.

He sat on the edge of the bed, looking around as the last of the down finally settled. Two days ago a neighbor would’ve been banging a hole through the ceiling by now, maybe they’d since given up. Repressing a yawn, Jerry slumped onto the bed, exhausted.
