New 50's slash!

Has anyone noticed how slashy Andy Williams is? Well I have ;) and he's adorable. Don't believe me? I have quite a good number of video evidence now. I especially like when Andy sings with Jobim on stage, they're incredibly warm and cuddly and playful with each other. You can look that up on yt but the quality is awful. But this video of Andy, Vic and Bobby is really cute too. Eddie Fisher calls Andy 'Bubula' X3 while 'teaching' him and Bobby Darin to sing Do RI MI and it's just the cutest thing ever. BTW, anyone else think Andy and Bobby are getting really flirty with the singing? Cuz i do...

And FYI, for those of you who like Frank/Dean slash and you know who you are, there was an Andy Williams interview on yt where he said that he and Frank were friends but what Frank and Dean had was different. 'They were very close' he explained... ;3

Here's a perfectly legitimate reason to never watch Dean & Jerry movies with the subtitles on... ^^

So, I'm watching 'the Caddy' - with the subtitles on - and when Dean starts singing 'That's Amore' I couldn't help but noticed the way 'pasta fazool' was spelled 'pasta fagiole. *cough*
'Fagioli'? like, what the... so then I got to thinking, and thinking for me is dangerous cuz usually doighty things come to mind.

So not only do we have a line 'gay tarantella' AKA. a gay 'dance' metaphor for, erm... *cough* (P.S. thank-you ORSON WELLES...)

Fagioli is also spelled 'fazool' which in Italian can be shortened to 'Fazz' which is slang for 'f*cking'... yeah, in the words of Jerry Lewis, 'Wash your mouth out with soap!'

There's also the Italian 'fazy' which means 'crazy' which also means 'Jerry'... which gives us an idea of Jerry's performance when *fazzing* Dean ^o^

Here's a *brilliant* clip of the Dean Martin celebrity roasts. Orson roasting Dean and calling him on the lyrics of 'That's Amore', especially the 'gay tarantella' bit at 2:52 and says, 'Apparently, Dean there's a side to you we know nothing about.'

OMG, how sad does Dean look 2:29?! O_O;

Hysterically funny gay moment in TV history! Brilliant! Fabulous! Bravo!~<3 And yes, when they mention 'Frank' they ARE talking about Frank Sinatra, he's just not in this scene at the moment ^o^

I'm itching to get my fingers on a copy of Deana Martin's (Dean Martin's daughter) best-selling book, "Memories Are Made of This." with favorable reviews from Jerry Lewis, Regis Philbin and Don Rickles! Supposedly it is an honest, exciting and fresh perspective on her dad, Dino! ^_^

The main reason I'm sharing this is because watching Dean throw that poor pianist off the bench so he could climb onto the piano just to sit next to Jerry is priceless, and adorable. <333

I can't believe Jerry was only 24ish in this video, and Dean only 34... ish. And I forgot that Jerry was only 19 when he first saw Dean walking through the doors of WMCA radio station and weedled Sonny King, Dean's flatmate, to introduce him to Dino on the corner of 49th St. & Broadway near the Manhattan club. I think I read somewhere Jerry had been expelled from school at some point for punching his headmaster or something but I might've read that on wiki and wiki's a bunch of bullsh*t anyway.

In the video, which I've watched more than a dozen times by now, doesn't feature our boys usual shtick. Jerry can't run around like a complete nut because he's sustaining an injury to his knee that, as far as I know, was exceptionally bad. Poor baby!
