Edit: There seems to be a pattern in my love of RPS/comedian slash and Dean and Jerry happen to my first!


And it all started when I first saw The Stooge and take into consideration that, for the time, this was incredibly slashy stuff, except back then people overlooked the manlove, but not anymore!

Warning, I'm going to Diva Slash Fangirl preach on you now! Dean/Jerry's love, seen in video footage and written accounts, is incomparable and at times quite explicit considering. Brokeback Mountain can't hold a candle to this... okay that might be a slight exaggeration :D

And who hasn't heard Dean Martin's "That's Amore"? That's their song technically because Jerry had it written for Dean and gave it to him.

I love 1:46 when Jerry throws Dean on the bed <333 and 2:13 when Dean looks totally in love when he's talking to Jerry on the phone... and 2:30 when Jerry tries to kiss Dean...  and 2:40 when Dean jumps on Jerry in the chair... and 2:50 when Jerry DOES kiss Dean... and 3:17 during their exit. SO CUTE!!!

I actually read Jerry Lewis autobiography 'Dean and Me: a Love Story' and it's so sad after they break up. Dean Martin turned to drinking and Jerry Lewis over-medicated himself and nearly managed to commit suicide. These two men are so completely in love with each other, I don't care what anybody says.

Frank Sinatra reunites Dean and Jerry years after they split up, check out the emotions! I love the way Frank has to breaks them up cause it looks they're about to start making-out and then jokes that there's a room upstairs if they want some privacy ;-P Also when Jerry leaves, loves on the way Dean Martin blows him a kiss...
